Our Background
Salt & Light Media Co. was built on curiosity, creativity, and a commitment to meaningful storytelling.
In 2022, I stepped into marketing through my family’s business, Proper Eu. What started as a hobby creating Reels and TikToks quickly became something much bigger. When I realized our media investments weren’t producing the results we hoped for, I decided to learn it myself. With little formal guidance, I immersed myself in branding, content strategy, and digital marketing, learning everything from the ground up.
As my skills grew, so did my desire to create. In 2023, I borrowed a friend’s camera and discovered how much a photograph could communicate that a phone simply couldn’t. What began with headshots and product photography soon grew into senior portraits, couples’ sessions, and brand imagery.
Along the way, I continued growing in both photography and marketing, pursuing certifications and developing a deeper understanding of branding, consumer engagement, and intentional storytelling. What started as a creative outlet became something I realized I truly loved.
Then, in February 2026, I photographed my first wedding.
Honestly, I never expected weddings to become something I would continue pursuing. But that first experience changed something for me. I realized how much I loved being there, not just to photograph a beautiful day, but to witness something sacred.
A wedding is more than a collection of pretty details. It is two people entering into a covenant before God. It is the quiet moments, the prayers, the happy tears, the laughter, the people who have shaped your story, and the beginning of a new chapter.
Being invited into one of the most important days of someone’s life is something I don’t take lightly.
That is where Salt & Light is today: at the intersection of photography, storytelling, and purpose. Whether I’m capturing a wedding, a couple, a brand, or a meaningful season of life, my goal is always the same: to create imagery that feels genuine, intentional, and true to you.
The name Salt & Light comes from Matthew 5:13–16, a reminder to live and create in a way that reflects Christ and points others toward Him. I want this business to be more than something I create through. I want it to be something I create with purpose.
Because the best stories aren’t just seen.

The Face Behind the Brand

With a background in marketing, branding, and visual storytelling, I’ve spent the past few years learning how to turn ideas into imagery that feels intentional and true to the people behind them.
What began with content creation and brand photography eventually grew into a love for photographing people, their stories, and the moments they never want to forget. In 2026, I began photographing weddings and quickly realized how much I love being invited into such a meaningful day, especially when it centers around a covenant before God.
I approach every session with intention, looking beyond the obvious moments to capture the little things that make your story yours. My goal is to create imagery that feels genuine, timeless, and full of the emotion you felt in that season.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me with a cafe miel in hand, baking sourdough, spending time outdoors, or enjoying slow moments with the people I love.
